Why WordPress?
I started developing websites with WordPress 3 years ago when I started getting serious about about Web Design & Development.
Before discovering how easy it is to build websites with WordPress, I built Custom Content Management Systems in PHP, which was a very laborious process.
While there was somewhat of a learning curve, WordPress has cut my workload considerably, and has made everything much easier.
The reason I use WordPress today, and the reason why I recommend it for all my clients is because it is (1) highly extensible (you can extend its functionality to do anything you can imagine) (2) extremely flexible (it’s adaptable to almost any situation), and (3) because of its widespread support throughout the open-source community.
Bottom line: There is no reason to use any other CMS or Blogging Platform because WordPress can do it all.
